Trinidad and Tobago’s weather: Saharan dust surge from today

Sunny, hazy and windy conditions are expected despite occasional cloudy patches with a 40% (medium) chance of a few brisk showers. Tonight will be mostly clear and cool.
There is a moderate concentration of Saharan dust in the atmosphere. Persons who are susceptible to such should take the necessary precautions.
Earlier this week, the Met Office advised the public about a surge of Saharan dust expected from Saturday with sensitive people beginning to feel discomfort from Friday.
It said the dust event is likely to be a lengthy one and will possibly persist beyond May 9.
