In the face of COVID-19, the company has shifted focus to spotlight the non-medical artist-designed face masks that it now has on offer. In addition to giving artists who are currently struggling due to lockdown closures a new opportunity for income, Threadless has stated that a portion of the proceeds from each sale will go towards MedShare, a non-profit that delivers essential supplies to those in need.
Also in response to COVID-19, Vogue Italia decided to capture supermodel Bella Hadid via FaceTime for a recent editorial. Creative workers Brianna Capozzi, Haley Woolens and Lauren Perez collaborated with Hadid remotely for the shoot, making for a series of beautifully styled shots that worked to highlight the importance of proper social distancing during these times.
