The world is stressed out. Covid19 has caused both a public health crisis and a financial crisis. Psychologists predict a mental health fallout following people coming out of lockdown. However, stress is nothing new. Before 2020, mental health issues have been a point of discussion as more people express having symptoms of anxiety and depression. On Wednesday, Newsday will launch one of a two-part series on the Science of Stress. The first on why people are stressed out and the second on how people can deal with stress on Thursday. We would like to feature your mental health artwork in the second story. Share your link or email the writer Rachael Espinet at firstname.lastname@example.org by noon on Wednesday to have your art featured in part two of The Science of Stress.
