No new COVID-19 cases reported; 118 more people recover

For the first time since June, Trinidad and Tobago has no new positive cases of COVID-19.

This was revealed in the Ministry of Health’s 4 pm daily clinical update.

In addition, six more people have been discharged from public health facilities while there have been 118 recovered community cases. This pushes the total number of recoveries to 4,887.

To date, 5,704 people have tested positive for the novel coronavirus. 

Of that total, 708 are active. 

One hundred and nine individuals have succumbed to the viral respiratory illness.

Meanwhile, 61 patients remain hospitalised, 30 are in step-down facilities, 213 are in state quarantine, and 617 are in self-isolation.
