How to Make Robert Pattinson’s Gross & Dangerous Pasta Recipe


Struggling to come up with interesting meals to enjoy during quarantine? Robert Pattinson has the answer. The actor recently shared a pasta recipe with GQ — one that sounds like the result of spending too much time alone, and also caused the actor to burn down his house … almost.

Pattinson revealed he’s spending quarantine putting together a business proposal for a fast-food pasta company: “A pasta which you can hold in your hand.” He explained his thought process behind the dish, saying, “[What if] pasta really had the same kind of fast-food credentials as burgers and pizzas? […] I was trying to figure out how to capitalize in this area of the market.”

The profile then outlined how the actor chaotically tried to make a prototype dish of this (honestly, absolutely horrendous) pasta invention, which he calls “piccolini cuscino” (Italian for little pillows). The result should be a microwaveable penne sandwich held together by a burger bun and a sugary cheese mass, but R-Patz never got to show off the finished result as he mistook his microwave for an oven and blew it up by accident.

Robert Pattinson’s Piccolini Cuscino

Ingredients:

One “Giant, filthy dust-covered box of cornflakes”
One “incredibly large novelty lighter”
Nine packs of presliced cheese
Sauce (“just any sauce,” the actor said)
Sugar
Penne
Burger bun
Aluminum foil
Water

Instructions

1. “First things first, you gotta microwave the pasta.” Pour dry penne in a bowl, cover it with water and microwave for eight minutes.

2. Then create a hollowed-out bowl out of aluminium foil. Place a layer of crushed up cornflakes in the foil and then add alternating layers of sugar and sliced cheese – “you really need to congeal everything in an enormous amount of sugar and cheese.”

3. Then add sauce, which is red.

4. Dump the pasta on top of this mess and sprinkle more sugar on top of it.

5. Take the top half of a burger bun, hollow it out, and place it on top of everything. Your “little pillow” is now complete.

6. For garnish, singe the letters “C” and “P” into the top of the bun.

7. Wrap the whole thing up with more aluminum foil, compact it, and then place in the oven (remember, not a microwave) for an unspecified amount of time.
