NSW Health has confirmed three cases of the deadly disease in Sydney, bringing the national total of confirmed cases to four.
A man in his 50s in Victoria became the first confirmed case in Australia on Saturday morning.
On Sunday, state media in China said 13 more people died from the coronavirus outbreak in the central Hubei province.
Shanghai also reported its first death from the virus, which brings the total number of deaths in the country to 56.
