Navigating the new normal as a consumer can be confusing, especially as retail stores have different policies of their own in place but Showfields is introducing a contactless app to support people as they return to in-store shopping. Showfields’ flagship Soho store recently reopened and along with it, the retailer introduced an app called Magic Wand that enhances the in-store experience.
The Magic Wand app serves as a virtual retail adviser for customers, as those who are browsing the store can use their mobile device to scan an object on display to access more information. The app also gives consumers the ability to add items to a digital cart and checkout contactlessly, which helps to minimize interactions between guests and staff.
