5 FEET KALI MURTI GOES MISSING FROM CARLI BAY
A 5-feet tall Kali murti has gone missing from Carli Bay and the persons who installed it there are asking for the public’s help in finding it.
103.1FM News has been told by Omi Rajaram that the concrete and steel structure, which took five persons to install, has been in place for a year.
It was erected when several fishermen went missing at sea.
Ms Rajaram said the murti has been prayed to by persons from all across the country but, on Mother’s Day, when they went to visit, they realised it was missing.
Before Mother’s Day, the owners last saw the statue on or around March 22nd 2020.
103.1FM has been told that they are making a report to the police and have reached out to the regional corporation following the incident.
